Benjamin Negoita Marketing Manager – benjamin@organicdrops.co.uk

I am the youngest child and the only boy of a family with 6 children. Having honey to our meals was something we would “fight over” back in the days. We literally loved it. It was a kind of a treat I would have gotten just then and again. On a piece of bread my mother uses to spread butter, then  honey and then “the growing prince” was the one enjoying it. I could have eaten even 10 slices of bread with butter and honey… oh, so lovely and tasty!

Q & A with Benjamin

How much honey do you regularly use?

I think about 1 jar of 400g/month.

Which honey do you prefer?

I like all of it, but my favourite is the Acacia Honey. It has a mild flavour and it is “always” runny. It is just perfect for my beverages as for burns as well.

What is that you don’t like about honey?

That is a difficult question… Probably  I do not like how sticky my fingers gets if I am not careful.

What can you tell your customers?

First of all I want to thank them for their trust and love.  Secondly: Eat well, stay healthy be the best!

David Pelin – Brand Ambassador – david@organicdrops.co.uk

My name is David Pelin the oldest brother in a family of three brothers. One of the best
things about the honey back in the days is that we were using it as a medicine for the time
when my brothers and I had a sore throat and even now I use it all the time because is
natural and I hate taking pills. This honey is the natural remedy for many illnesses in our
bodies because is a mixture of the best ingredients a flower can produce, and this is an
advantage I like to make use of.
How much honey do you regularly use?
I like to consume as much as possible and this means about 500g a month or even more
when I’m sick.
Which honey do you prefer?
I can’t say I have a favourite kind of honey but the richest in goodies Is the wild flowers one,
full of antioxidants and “tonnes” of vitamins.

When Benjamin first shared his business plans with me I was a bit sceptical. What if people won’t be as excited as we are about honey, what if we don’t sell any? These were a few questions that went through my mind. So I agreed to start with small investments, to test the market. To my surprise, people were so excited about our products. Did you know that in England are over 63 million people and that the average consumption is 5 kg of honey per year, per person? Our customers love all the products we offer and this is what encourages us to move forward.

How much honey do you regularly use?

I use around 1 jar of honey in a month.

Which honey do you prefer?

I think I like all of them. It depends on what I use it for. I like the acacia honey for its floral taste and for the fact that is naturally always runny. I like the linden one for its creamy texture and for its golden colour.

What can you tell your customers?

Thank you for your support, please continue to spread the word about the benefits of raw honey and about the importance of protecting the bees.
